When configuring a response that involves a notification action, the text used as part of that action can either be the standard narrative automatically generated internally by ServerAssist, or custom text that adds to or replaces this standard text.
Keyword Substitution
Custom text can contain placeholders which are substituted for information about the incident to which they pertain.
Generic substitutions, applicable to all monitoring, cover items such as the date and time, the incident type and even the original narrative.
Futher incident-specific substitutions allow a fully-customised message to be created, in whatever format and structure that is required, but that still includes all the relevant information about the incident.
Active Response Support
Even with a fully-customised message, the links and other information in the message required for active responses can be included.
